VHP suspends campaigns for the Ram Temple construction in Ayodhya till elections
The Vishwa Hindu Parishad on Tuesday announced that the suspension of its campaign for the Ram Temple issue in Ayodhya.
On Tuesday 5 February the VHP decided that they will suspend the campaign till the Lok Sabha polls are over. According to reports their decision was taken to prevent any kind of issue for the coming elections.
Ram Temple construction in Ayodhya has already been a matter of concern for the nation as well as the Supreme Court from years. Somewhere it has gained the attraction of political chiefs and each party is using this issue for their own good. .Ram Janambhoomi Movement has been spearheaded by VHP and the organisation has been running a nation-wide campaign for the past several months in order to put pressure on the government to pass a law for building the Ram temple in Ayodha.
Surendra Jain,the international joint general secretary of VHP confirmed” The Vishwa Hindu Parishad has decided to suspend campaigns for construction of Ram Temple till the completion of Lok Sabha elections as the organization do not want Ram Temple to be an issue in the coming elections”. Reports say that the VHP has taken this decision after political parties got engaged and decided to make the construction of Ram Temple a tool for winning and gaining votes in the elections.
Jain also confirmed that the Vishwa Hindu Parishad will still stand for their campaign and their rights in Ram Temple construction, but they will continue everything after the 2019 General elections.
