The year of 2019 has begun with an exciting political announcement by the film Actor Prakash Raj, as he has made his intention to contest the 2019 General Election as an independent candidate probably from Karnataka state. In line with other south Indian film actors such as Rajnikanth and Kamal Hasan, Prakash Raj is on the journey of trying his luck into the electoral politics.

With the many controversies surrounded him and the background for taking the stand on several political & sensational issues, he is looking more towards going against the current Hindu agenda of BJP govt. His past comments on uses of cow dung and urine has raised the eye brows of so many hindu fundamentalists in India and was also not well received into the media. As per him, he was unable to find the compassion and level of tolerance in present definition and practice of BJP Hinduism and raised the many concerns about their ideologies.

Raj has earlier claimed that he was stopped from being offered the role from the Bollywood as he has been an open critic of the Modi Government. Now, the time will define the intentions and acceptability of the actor who has done a commendable job in his various reel life roles but the real life would not be an easy job.
