Lok Sabha Elections 2019 Shiv Sena

On Wednesday Shiv Sena confirmed that the party will contest 2019 Lok Sabha elections on it’s own rather than forming an alliance with the Bharatiya Janata Party, forming a partnership with the BJP means 'means killing your own freedom of 'janadhar' Sena added.

Shiv Sena criticised party’s (BJP) ‘Sampark for Samarthan campaign which Amit Shah , the party president is promoting.

"Why is BJP doing 'Sampark for Samarthan' campaign after their defeat in the recently-held bypolls. Shiv Sena will fight the 2019 general elections on its own strength. The Palghar by poll has shown the power of the party. Despite being in power, the BJP has lost its connection with the people. A party like Shiv Sena has always moved ahead keeping in mind 'jansampark'  and 'janadhar' , and, it doesn't require any poster boy to fight or win an election," said Shiv Sena .

“The PM  is touring the world and BJP chief Amit Shah is touring the country as part of their Sampark Abhiyan . Shah will be meeting NDA allies. But, what exactly will he do? It is a question why he is meeting now after the BJP suffered defeats in by polls. . The Palghar by poll results have shown the Sena’s strength,” said Sena, in an editorial in party mouthpiece ‘Saamana’.
