Sharad Pawar denies seat sharing with MNS forming alliance with Congress

Maharashtra Navnirman Sena is not the part of the alliance of Sharad Pawar and Rahul Gandhi. According to reports NCP and Congress finally came to a conclusion about seat sharing in Maharashtra.NCP leader Sharad Pawar said in an interview that his party will contest along with Congress in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections 2019.

NCP leader Sharad Pawar said that they both will contest for 45 out of 48 seats in Maharashtra and MNS will not be a part of the alliance.

Currently there is no clarity regarding the seats of Ahmednagar, Aurangabad, Ratnagiri-Sindhudurg, Nandurbar, Jalna and Raver parliamentary .Pawar said that they will leave two or maybe three seats from the 48 seats for other parties  and the party which will have the majority will be contesting for those seats.

On meeting with Raj Thackrey , Pawar stated that they met for personal reasons and it has nothing to do with seat sharing plans or politics. He added MNS will not be a part of NCP and Congress alliance.
