According to media reports mahagathbandhan in Bihar seems diminishing. The parties are not having good talks about seat sharing ahead Lok Sabha elections. RJD and Congress is not on good terms these days.

Congress President Rahul Gandhi demanded to contest 16 seats in Bihar. Rashtriya Janata Dal do not look satisfied with the demand but Congress told RJD to let them contest for atleast 12 seats. The Bihar alliance at present include the RJD, the Rashtriya Lok Samta Party (RLSP), Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP), Jitan Ram Manjhi's Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) and Sharad Yadav's Loktantrik Janata Dal (LJD).

According to reports RJD is the leading bond for alliance in Bihar and Lalu Yadav’s decision will be the final decision for the party. “RJD has also opened arms for other smaller parties to form an alliance with them and they are comfortable without Congress” RJD member said.
