After previous year voters disappointment this time the Karnataka government and the CEO (Chief Electoral Office) of Karnataka decides to run programmes for booth level awareness and other measures for explaining proper voting idea to the people.
According to the Chief Electoral office of Karnataka 51%of voters were unsatisfied with the voting system of the state and were disappointed .To improve the condition, Karnataka government has now decided to provide voting programmes.
There will be a group of people who will create awareness about contesting candidates and explain the idea of responsible voting.
Voting is the most important aspect in formation of the government and hence it should be the prior function of the state to insure that people are voting responsibly and votes are counted indiscriminately .Every citizen in the country has the right to vote their favourite candidate and it is the responsibility of the government to check that the votes are not wasted.
So in order to keep a check on availability of candidates and their votes Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) and the Chief Electoral Office of Karnataka are teaming up with Bangalore Political Action Committee (B. PAC)and announcing BAG’s(Booth Level Awareness Group) for the awareness in voting criteria among each constituency .
This will help in proper voting and democracy.
