President of YSRCP (YuvajanaSramikaRythu Congress Party) on Monday demanded to remove the names of 60 Lakh voters from the polls in Andhra Pradesh.

YSR President Jaganmohan Reddy urged his demand of removing 60Lakh voters from the electoral list. Reddy said that the Election Commission should focus on his plea and remove the names of about 60Lakh defective voters form the poll. He called Chief Election Commissioner Sunil Arora to look into the matter and conduct free and fair election.

Reddy alleged Telugu Desam Party to diminish democracy and steal votes for election. He said that the TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu tried to manipulate the voters and also held talks with Sunil Arora regarding the general elections 2019. He complained TDP has manipulated voters, electoral polls, misused government machinery in various surveys and gathering data about the voters and also took the help of police officers to keep an eye on the opposition.

YSR chief slammed that the number of defective voters increased by 59.18 lakh at the behest of the TDP government. Out of 3.69 crore voters, if nearly 60 lakh are "invalid or defective", it reflects very badly on the election process, Jagan said.

Reddy claimed the TDP is not working according to the rules and regulations and should be removed from power. Director General of Police R.P. Thakur, Additional DGP A.B. Venkateswara Rao and DIG G. Srinivas should be removed from election duty, said Reddy.
