Cabinet Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Ram Vilas Paswan announced that the country was currently as peace, but could go at war anytime “if the need arises” at an NDA rally in Patna on Sunday.
At the rally attended by Union Minister of Law and Justice, Ravi Shankar Prasad, Bihar BJP Chief Nityanand Rai, Bihar BJP-in-charge Bhupendra Yadav, and Bihar JD(U) chief Bashishta Narayan Singh, Bihar Deputy Chief Sushil Kumar Modi also addressed the rally and honored the Prime Minister for having carried out the 26th February airstrike on terrorist camps in Pakistan.
The Lok Janshakti Party Chief Ram Vilas Paswan, said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is moving ahead with the “policy of carrying both Buddha (peace) and Yudha (war)”. He complimented and congratulated Modi for having handled the Pulwama terror situation with ease, and that Modi’s chest size was “not 56 inches but 156 inches”.
He made tall claims of winning the “battle of ballots” in the upcoming general elections after having won the “battle of bullets” against Pakistan.
Adding to his foreseeing-the-future remarks, Paswan went on to say that the NDA, in which the Lok Janshakti Party is an ally of the Bharatiya Janata Party, will win 400 seats out of 543 in the 2019 polls, and all the 40 seats in Bihar. He also claimed that Modi will become the Prime Minister again.
