Himachal Pradesh BJP chief Satpal Singh Satti, who was in the news a few weeks ago, and was also banned from campaigning for 48 hours by the EC, for threatening to cut off Congress president Rahul Gandhi’s tongue, has once again made a severing statement.
At a rally on Wednesday, the MLA said that if anyone dares to raise a finger at his party, especially at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he will “cut off their fingers”. He further said that his party is not filled with “nincompoops, or stupid people”.
The District Electoral Officer has reportedly issued a notice to Satti.
All four parliamentary constituencies of the state will witness polling on May 19, the seventh and last phase of the ongoing 17th Lok Sabha Elections. Counting of votes will take place on May 23.
