Hema Malini decides to contest again from Mathura

Former Actress and Bharatiya Janata Party lawmaker Hema Malini will again contest the Lok Sabha elections. Malini said that she will be contesting the Lok Sabha election 2019 from Mathura.

Hema said” I will contest the Lok Sabha elections 2019 from Mathura which was appointed to me in the last Lok Sabha elections.”

The former actress was seen in a play to spread Ganga awareness. She presented a dance performance which was a part of Pravasi Bharatiya Convention 2019. They play was aimed to spread awareness and knowledge about prevention of pollution in Ganga river.

She also said that she will hold talks about introducing a train between Mathura and Lucknow . She said “I will request Piyush Goyal to introduce a train between Mathura to Lucknow and it would be easy for the pilgrims of eastern UP to reach Mathura if a train will be introduced between both the cities.”

Malini won 5,74,451 seats in the Mathura assembly elections defeating RLD chief Jayant Chaudhary.

She said about her developmental work in Mathura which majorly included the running modernization of Mathura Junction railway station. She also talked about the expenses in the modernization of railway station which included making of escalators, improvising lifts, renovating waiting rooms and also the construction of foot over bridge at Bad station. Ranjan Yadav, Agra Divisional Railway Manager said that the total expense in the modernization of Railway station is 20Crore and other tasks such as making lifts and escalator summed up to 8 Crore.

Malini will be again contesting the Lok Sabha elections 2019 from Mathura.
