The ruling BJP party is to face a tough competition with its own members who had quit BJP recently. They are presumably to fight against BJP. This may worry BJP since; these political leaders are from different communities and have a great influence in their respective communities.
Also, according to the famous political analyst Rakesh Srivastava, this displeasure among these ex-BJP leaders is due to the style of working of Rajasthan’s Chief Minister Vasundhra Raje.
MLA Manvinder Singh, Ghanshyam Tiwari, Hanuman Beniwal and Kirori Singh Bainsla have voluntarily resigned from all BJP posts in 2010. They are widely accepted in their own communities, which can cause a serious trouble to BJP in Rajasthan assembly polls.
Interestingly, these political leaders are assumed to increase BJP’s sufferings more than that of Congress. This rebel nature of the ex-BJP leaders will heavily impact the candidate’s selection for the seats in Rajasthan assembly.
As per the sources, Manvinder’s wife Chitra Singh may fight in his seat. However, Bainsla remains the only one who has yet not announced whether he will contest polls or not.
Son of Jaswanth Singh, Manvinder Singh announced that he will contest elections from Barmer where his father was denied the ticket. He gained a lot of sympathy because of the alleged ill-treatment of BJP to his father. He claimed that he will fight for self-respect against BJP.
Ghanshyam Tiwari who had twice been minister in the BJP government is not at all delighted by the working style of Raje. He claimed that his party will uproot Vasundhra Raje in the upcoming elections. His party’s name is Bharat Vahini Sena.
The Jat leader Hanuman Beniwal had also quit the BJP due to his differences with Raje. He claimed that BJP will not get a single seat from Nagpur, his hometown. He was first elected as an MLA in Khinsavar under BJP.
Though, Bainsla has still not given any confirmation regarding the polls. Being a gujjar he claimed that he will chose the party which will give 5% quota to Gujjars.
