BJP’s strategic focus on 2019, Asked All BJP Chief Ministers to gear up for 2019

BJP’s current strategy is to pitch on increasing the vote bank by holding formal meetings with the key people who derives interests from the policies of states, as well as the centre. 
The meeting was held on 28thAug’2018, headed by the PM and BJP chief, Shah. It was attended by 14 CM’s of BJP-ruled states (Bihar, Nagaland, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Tripura and Andhra Pradesh) along with 7 Deputy Chief Ministers. 
All chief ministers were asked to be ready by Feb-end on key fronts. They had been told to achieve new targets regarding major welfare schemes launched by both Centre and State governments. Also, they were told to set new targets on the latest schemes such as Ujjwala, AwaasYojana, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and Ayushman Bharat. Ministers of BJP ruled states also presented the progress report on the targets achieved.
Amit Shah also in the meeting, aimed on conferences of beneficiaries in all the levels. The focus should be to make them BJP voters, according to Shah. The goals and planning was also set for the upcoming elections. 
The discussion was committed to the idea to make Narendra Modi the Prime Minister again in 2019, and this time by bigger majority than 2014. Union ministers Arun Jaitely, Rajnath Singh, Nitin Gadkari and Sushma Swaraj also attended the meeting and gave green flag to the decision of Narendra Modi to be the Prime Minister candidate for next elections as well. 
As per the sources, Chief Minister’s have also been directed be the BJP-chief to be in touch with minor parties of the states so that chances of alliances can be given a thought.
