BJP to accentuate GST and Demonetisation: 2019 Lok Sabha elections

Bharatiya Janata Party has decided to not to outmanoeuvre Goods and Services Tax and Demonetisation instead will take the impact of the reforms to people to further party’s anticorruption plank in 2019 Lok Sabha polls.

The state leadership was asked not to be thin skinned as both the state and the centre have been successful in executing the reforms, which were there in the 2014 maifesto said Shah. A BJP source said “The top leadership of the centre and the state have decided to take the reforms in the economic sectors to the grass roots in the next one year. Party workers have been asked to push anti corruption reforms throughout the 91000 booths in Maharashtra” said a BJP source.

It would cover 335 talukas in the 36 districts and 40913 villages in the state, the source said.

“Chief Minister Davendra Fadnavis has stressed on taking the anti corruption plank along with the developmental reforms, to people through micro management. The thrust is o man to man communication” said a political observer.
