BJP holds division-wise meetings in Maharashtra ahead Lok Sabha elections 2019

Lok Sabha elections are close and all the parties are preparing themselves for the coming polls. Bharatiya Janata Party has decided to hold Division-wise meetings in Maharashtra which is an important state in India.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis conducted meetings with the party members and discussed about the seats in Mumbai region constituencies. Fadnavis said “We are conducting division-wise meetings, for now we will discuss about the Lok Sabha constituencies in Mumbai region.” Fadnavis also said that the Bharatiya Janata Party has previously conducted meetings and poll surveys and according to that the party will prepare its candidates and MPs. He said BJP is trying to hold most of the meetings to know the internal situation of the state and population.

Fadnavis also addressed Uddhav Thackrey and said that there is no conformity about the tie-up of BJP and Shiv Sena as latter has unsupported BJP several times.

Shiv Sena leader previously said in a speech “ We are the big-brothers in Maharashtra” and according to reports BJP is not clear about its relation with Shiv Sena.

BJP and Shiv Sena fought the 2014 Lok Sabha elections separately where BJP won a total of 122 seats and Shiv Sena managed to get 63 seats. Before 2014 both the parties shared the seats and fought together.
