BJP attacks Congress, alleges money laundering case for Priyanka Gandhi’s husband
Lok Sabha election is at the door and there is massive competition among the parties. The two National parties Bharatiya Janata Party and Congress party are at loggerheads and are continuously creating challenges for each other.
On Wednesday Bharatiya Janata Party spokesperson Sambit Patra alleged Priyanaka Gandi Vadra’s husband Robert Vadra for benefitting in petroleum and a defence deal which took place in 2008-09 when the UPA was in power.
Patra said that Robert Vadra utilized the money from the deal to buy rich properties in worth several crores in London. Sambit Patra also told that the Congress has many times used the government’s property for their personal benefits. Quoting an e-mail trail, he alleged that Mr. Vadra’s company received “kickbacks” from a series of companies floated to “turn black money into white”.
Mr Patra was quoted saying that the brother-in law of Congress President will have to appear before the Enforcement Directorate for the money laundering case. He also said” This time the Lok Sabha election will be between Modi and all the black money holders.”
Robert Vadra is expected to appear before the Enforcement Directorate on 6 February, Wednesday .
