Antony claimed to remove CPM from Kerala
Senior leader of Congress party A K Antony on Monday said that the Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPIM) and Bharatiya Janata Party is trying to isolate the Hindu community from the Congress. Antony claimed that the BJP is working on the Divide and Rule strategy.
Antony who was raising the Congress party’s flag Kasargod said that the Bharatiya Janata Party and Communist Party of India (Marxist) has previously misinformed about the campaign in the Chenganur bypoll. Similarly they will do nothing but attract voters through fake promises and lies, said Antony.
Antony claimed that the BJP and CPIM are trying to alienate the Hindu majority from the Congress party and they think they can win hearts following this. He said” CPIM has sugarcoated words for the minority and many of the small communities have fallen for the party. The BJP and CPIM thinks they can talk and win votes. They will never help the minorities, they will promise and they will betray like always.”
Antony also said that the BJP accused Congress of winning the minority votes and dividing people but the Congress was unable to answer them because of its less reach to the public. He said slogans, campaigns and sweet words will not be enough for winning the Lok Sabha elections 2019.”You have to work hard and you have to work honestly” said Antony addressing BJP and CPIM.
The senior leader also said that the RSS also did not supported Modi in the previous election because they also know about the shallowness of BJP. He said” This time the election is not only about winning voters and making leaders, this time it is about saving the Indian democracy and constitution. We have to remove BJP to have a democratic and healthy government.”
Antony also confirmed his strategies about removing the Pinarayi Vijayan’s government from Kerala and said” After the Kerala floods the CPIM was busy making plans and dividing people on the basis of caste and religion instead of making houses and uniting the population. He further added that the farmers are dying everyday and there is nobody to focus on the issue.”
Antony announced that the ‘Janamahayatra’, led by the KPCC president Mullappally Ramachandran, would tour all 140 Assembly constituencies and culminate in Thiruvananthapuram on February 28.AICC general secretary Oommen Chandy, Opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala, Kodikunnil Suresh MP and senior Congress leaders M M Hassan and K Sudhakaran were present at the yatra’s launch. He also said that the Congress have solidarity and is capable of winning the coming elections.
