Amit Chavda will lead Congress party from Gujarat State in Lok Sabha elections 2019

Gujarat state congress on Friday decided to contest 2019 Lok Sabha elections under the leadership  of Amit Chavda. The congress party members unanimously decided that Gujarat will be contesting 2019 Lok Sabha elections under the guidance of Gujarat congress president Amit Chavda.

State congress position holders on Friday namely Leader of Opposition in the state Assembly Paresh Dhanani, former state presidents Arjun Modhwadia, Naresh Raval and Siddharth Patel, MLA Mohansinh Rathwa, former Member of Parliament Somabhai Patel and AICC secretary Jitendra Baghel.

 A few days ago some party members including Modhwadhia and Siddharth Patel complained Rahul Gandhi about improper functioning of state under Amit Chavda but now everybody concluded that he will lead the congress party from Gujarat.

The leader together decided that there will be no change in the format and leader of the party in state before 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
