Akhilesh Yadav cleared his agenda for LS elections 2019,says removing Congress from alliance was a part of poll arithmetic
Samajwadi party chief Akhilesh Yadav on Tuesday said that he decided to keep Congress out of SP-BSP alliance to reform his arithmetic calculations for dethroning Bharatiya Janata Party.
Akhilesh Yadav said that he wanted to keep Rahul Gandhi and Congress party away from BSP-SP alliance just to dethrone BJP. Yadav in an interview said that he respects Rahul Gandhi with all his heart but he has to think about the poll arithmetic and thus he decided to distant Congress from the alliance.
Rahul said that he previously contested with Congress and lost seats in the state having highest number of constituencies but he do not want to lose this time.
Inassembly elections 2017 Akhilesh stood by Rahul against Bharatiya Janata Party and lost seats in Uttar Pradesh.
He said the reason for the loss in assembly elections 2017 was their distorted and false arithmetic poll observation. Akhilesh said that he wants to dethrone BJP and he made alliances with BSP and RLD on purpose.
Akhilesh also blamed Modi for no development and issues like demonetization and farm loans. He stated that he wants new Prime Minister and that too from Uttar Pradesh.
He supported Mayawati and Mamata Banerjee and said they both can be the mew face for the PM post and are eligible.
SP chief explained his ignorance to Congress and said that if the number of seats in Uttar Pradesh is removed Bharatiya Janata Party will have no majority and can easily be dethroned. He added that he left two seats for the Congress in the state but if Congress wants to fight for all the 80 Lok Sabha seats they can definitely choose their path.
Akhilesh disappointedly said “I did a lot of improvement in the state and tried my best to improve the conditions of poor and backwards but despite doing all that I lost in the assembly elections 2017,the only reason was my false understanding of polls”. Akhilesh showed his respect for Rahul Gandhi and cleared his agenda of removing BJP from the throne.
