AAP's Minister meets Bhim Army chief Chandrashekhar for Lok Sabha election 2019

Aam Aadmi Party's Minister Rajendra Pal Gautam met with Bhim Army chief Chandrashekhar Azad at his residence in Uttar Pradesh's Saharanpur district on Wednesday. He said to fight BJP in 2019 Lok Sabha election it is important for similar ideology to come together at a common platform.
The statement came from Gautam's office stated that the "sole aim" is to throw the BJP out of power in 2019. After his release from the jail Last week, Azad had said he would ensure that the BJP will get defeated in the upcoming Lok Sabha election.
The AAP's Minister said that Azad's support will be taken in the Lok Sabha polls for "protecting" the Constitution. The meeting was an hour long according to the statement came out.
The statement stated, "People of similar ideology need to come at a common platform to fight the BJP in the 2019 Lok Sabha polls... The people of the country will oust Prime Minister Narendra Modi from power."
"Ousting the BJP from power in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections is the sole aim," the statement quoted Gautam as saying. Azad was arrested in June last year over the charges of involvement in the May 5 caste violence in which one person was killed and 16 others were injured at Shabbirpur village in Saharanpur.
Azad was granted bail from the Allahabad High Court in 2017 but the police booked him under the stringent National Security Act days before his release.
